Brian Penso is a successful serial entrepreneur, but it wasn’t always that way. There were many failures, and Brian lost everything multiple times (not having enough money to feed himself on a daily basis and living in old dirty warehouses with no heat or hot water for many years). The money he did have went to food and tennis balls for his trustworthy sidekick, Abby, a dog he had rescued along the way. He claims “That crazy pup got me through the worst times of life, and she never gave up on me.”
At one point, after a company didn’t pay for some products, Brian was down to his last few dollars. He was at the end again. He sold everything he had to pay off the debts he had created and was looking to leave Texas and return home to rural Ohio, defeated—just as many figured he would. However, before he could do anything else, a light came on, and he decided to give it one more go. That dedication, grit and a pure desire to not fail took him on a 15-year journey that paid off with dividends; Brian created one of the largest companies in his industry, with clients spanning from coast to coast.
